CATHOLIC YOUTH CENTER MISSION STATEMENT
It shall be the purpose of the Catholic Youth Center to advance the moral, intellectual, social and recreational interests of all youth.
Our programs and services offer a safe environment for youth and familiies. We offer an After School Program, Recreational & Sports instruction and programs, a Service Society, Summer Camp and more. Please visit individual programs (left) for additional information.
The CYC is grateful for their dedicated staff and volunteers. Due to their efforts we are able to offer competitive programs and services. We welcome new volunteers!

Catholic Youth Center Announces New Director
The Pittsfield Catholic Youth Center (CYC) has appointed Jodi Astore-Davine to serve as the Center’s new Executive Director. She replaces Gary Collins, who served as the Center’s Interim Executive Director since September of 2009. “Jodi possesses all the key characteristics we were looking for in our new Executive Director. Her leadership ability and accomplishments in financial and business administration, along with her hands on experience with recreational and youth service programs will assure that the CYC will thrive as it continues to serve its members and constituents while promoting Catholic values”, said Tony King, President of the CYC Board of Directors. King added that Astore-Davine was selected from a pool of nation-wide applicants and recommended to the CYC Board by a search committee that consisted of current and past CYC board members and a current staff member. She began her regular duties and work schedule earlier this month. Since 2005, Astore-Davine has served as the Controller for Berkshire Children and Families, Inc. in Pittsfield. For ten years prior to that she was the owner and operator of Jodi’s Jolly Journey Family Childcare. Earlier in her career she worked for Jiminy Peak in Hancock and the Patten Corporation in Stamford, VT. She is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA). She has served as the president of the Allendale School PTO and serves on the Reid Middle School Council. She has been a volunteer youth basketball and soccer coach and a Girl Scout Leader, working with girls from the Daisy to Cadette levels. Since 2009, she served as a member of the CYC Board of Directors and chaired its Program Committee. Prior to accepting her appointment to the Executive Director’s position, she stepped down from her Board position. She and her family are members of St. Charles Parish in Pittsfield. The Pittsfield Catholic Youth Center’s mission is to advance the moral, intellectual, social and recreational interests of the youth of the Pittsfield Catholic Community, and the Berkshire County region. It provides its members with programs focusing on youth ministry, service, recreation, and after school activities. It operates its main facility on Melville Street and Camp St. Michael on Cascade Street in Pittsfield.
